Blogging To Learn
Student Blogs are a great way to get students to do what most of them hate: WRITE!
So why not...
- Create a classroom blog where everyone contributes their writing.
- Have small groups create blogs where other groups respond to their writings.
- Teachers post an issue on your blog and have students express their opinions on the issue.
Can you think of other ways blogs can be used?
Using iPods in the Classroom
I think the use of iPods is only just beginnning in our classrooms. Here are a few ideas I have seen:
- Video a teaching episode of each state standard and place on an iPod for students to use as review or to hear the explanation one more time.
- Allow students to podcast the oral presentation of a project complete with images.
